The two-day Voting and Selection of Penghulu for Mukim Mentiri ended, 5th April 2026. Conducted by the Brunei Muara District Office, the event took place at the Mentiri Community Hall.

Present was Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. Six candidates were listed to fill the position of Penghulu Mukim Mentiri. The results of the voting will be presented to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for Penghulu Mukim and Village Head, Ministry of Home Affairs for the next process.
